I have been making cakes for the past two years and have dreamed all along to find someone to help me. I can spend up to 20 man hours on a cake and as much as I LOVE what I do the thought of someone else doing part of the work and helping me design would be pure bliss. And today I want to tell you all that my dream has come true! I have been incredibly fortunate to partner up with Lisa Knopp. She is a very talented artist who has begun using cakes as her creative outlet. We have joined forces and will be working together from now on on all our orders, so exciting!
Our first cake we did together was for a local author here in Dallas. She was having a 50th birthday party and in in love with pink. She wanted us to use the cover of her book as inspiration and this is what we came up with. And her book has been bought by ABC for a show by the same people who made Sex in The City! Craziness.
